Software Engineer
Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain Allen‑Bradley PLC automation and GVOSS systems, supporting real‑time factory information reporting and continuous improvement of assembly line operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and commission Allen‑Bradley PLC logic for manufacturing equipment and assembly lines.
- Integrate and support GVOSS applications to enable seamless data exchange between PLCs and higher‑level systems.
- Maintain and enhance the Factory Information System for real‑time performance monitoring, production flow tracking, and downtime analysis.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on the plant floor, providing rapid root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement continuous‑improvement projects that boost equipment reliability and productivity.
Requirements
- Proven experience programming Allen‑Bradley (Rockwell) PLCs in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands‑on knowledge of GVOSS or similar plant‑floor data acquisition platforms.
- Familiarity with Factory Information System concepts, real‑time data collection, and reporting tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software automation issues.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control system documentation.
