Platform Support Engineer responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting cloud‑based SaaS infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance for global revenue‑management solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 support for production environments, diagnosing and resolving incidents across Linux and AWS services.
- Automate routine tasks and deployments using Python scripts and IaC tools to improve reliability and reduce mean time to recovery.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to implement monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning strategies.
- Document troubleshooting procedures, runbooks, and post‑mortem analyses to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in on‑call rotations and contribute to incident response playbooks.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting cloud‑native SaaS platforms, preferably in a SaaS or SPM environment.
- Strong proficiency with Linux system administration, AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch), and networking concepts.
- Hands‑on scripting skills in Python and familiarity with configuration management (Ansible, Terraform).
- Experience with monitoring/alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, customer‑focused mindset.
