Software Engineer
Design, develop, and integrate scalable banking platform solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS. Deliver microservice‑based APIs that enable digital onboarding, banking, and data‑driven marketing for financial institutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain core platform services using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs that enable seamless integration of onboarding, digital banking, and marketing modules.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and data teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize services on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, RDS, and Lambda for cloud‑native operations.
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration pipelines to uphold code quality and delivery speed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservice architectures.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and writing efficient SQL queries.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating across cross‑functional teams.
