Software Engineer
Lead testing initiatives for ServiceNow platform enhancements, driving test automation, quality standards, and agile delivery across the ServiceNow Center of Excellence.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute test strategies for new ServiceNow platform capabilities, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Lead a team of test engineers, providing mentorship, task allocation, and performance feedback.
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks using JavaScript and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate release cycles.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and ITSM stakeholders to ensure requirements are testable and quality criteria are met.
- Track defects, generate metrics, and report test progress to the Testing and Validation Chapter and ServiceNow CoE leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years leading test efforts on ServiceNow platforms.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in test automation tools and scripting (JavaScript, Selenium, or similar) and CI/CD integration.
- Proven experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with IT Service Management processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
