About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, install, and commission platform lift systems at client sites, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical and electrical components to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with project teams to schedule installations, coordinate with contractors, and manage project timelines.
- Mentor and train in‑house apprentices, fostering technical skill development and adherence to best practices.
- Document service activities, generate reports, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance of lift or similar systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret technical schematics.
- Knowledge of safety regulations (e.g., HSE, ISO) related to lift operations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
