About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native platform solutions on AWS to support health‑care product delivery.
- Lead the migration and modernization of legacy systems to containerized microservices using Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform, ensuring repeatable and secure environments.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines that automate build, test, and deployment processes for Java‑based services.
- Collaborate with product owners, security, and operations teams to embed best‑in‑class security and compliance practices.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams on platform standards, performance tuning, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or cloud architecture, preferably in the insurance or health‑care domain.
- Strong expertise with AWS services, Kubernetes orchestration, and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Proficient in Java development and building microservice architectures.
- Hands‑on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive platform modernization initiatives.
