Software Engineer
Lead the design, development, and operation of the SAP Data Accelerator platform, applying deep SAP knowledge and modern data‑engineering practices with Java, Python, and cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain the SAP Data Accelerator platform to support high‑volume, low‑latency data pipelines.
- Develop core services and APIs using Java and Python, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Integrate SAP data sources with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
- Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimize platform components.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in platform or data‑engineering roles, with strong expertise in SAP ecosystems.
- Proficiency in Java and Python for building data‑processing services.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of data integration, streaming, and batch processing technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
