Software Engineer
Data Analytics & Reporting Analyst focused on cloud cost control and performance insights, leveraging Python, SQL, Power BI, and AWS to deliver actionable cost‑saving recommendations and enable data‑driven decision making.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze cloud spend across AWS and Azure environments to identify cost drivers and optimization opportunities.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI, providing real‑time visibility into spending, usage, and compliance metrics.
- Collaborate with finance, engineering, and product teams to translate business requirements into data models and visualizations.
- Automate data pipelines using Python and SQL, ensuring data integrity and timely delivery for reporting.
- Support governance initiatives by establishing controls, monitoring adherence, and reporting on key performance indicators.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or cloud cost management.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Power BI for data extraction, transformation, and visualization.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS cost management tools (Cost Explorer, Budgets, Cost Allocation Tags).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work across cross‑functional teams.
