About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain SAP Big Data Fabric infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Develop and automate data pipelines using Python, SQL, and SAP tooling.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of data services through Kubernetes orchestration.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to optimize data workflows and performance.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and apply performance tuning and capacity planning.
Requirements
- 3+ years of platform engineering experience in a cloud environment.
- Strong proficiency with Linux, Kubernetes, and containerization.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP Big Data Fabric and related SAP analytics products.
- Solid scripting skills in Python and SQL for data manipulation and automation.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
