Platform Engineer focused on building reliable, scalable pipelines and infrastructure for media & entertainment software, leveraging Python, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and Docker to ensure production-grade operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that move code from prototype to production with high reliability.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services and Terraform, ensuring scalability and cost efficiency.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters, optimizing performance and resilience.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to detect and resolve incidents quickly.
- Collaborate with development teams to define best practices for infrastructure as code, security, and compliance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a platform or site reliability engineer in a mission‑critical environment.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling.
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, CloudWatch).
- Strong knowledge of Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to reliability and performance optimization.
