Devops Engineer
Platform Engineer responsible for designing, building, and optimizing a secure, scalable Kubernetes platform using open‑source and enterprise tools, automation, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and implement enhancements to the Kubernetes platform to improve performance, reliability, and security.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform and Helm charts to automate cluster provisioning and configuration.
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins) to streamline application delivery and reduce technical debt.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure platform observability and rapid incident response.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to enforce best‑practice policies for container hardening, network segmentation, and access control.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Kubernetes (cluster design, upgrades, networking, RBAC).
- Proficiency in container technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Helm.
- Hands‑on experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools for cloud‑native environments.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and implementation using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Argo CD.
- Experience with Linux systems, scripting (Bash/Python), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) preferred.
