Senior Platform Engineer driving cloud-native infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Python to deliver scalable, secure services for a global digital platform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging IaC with Terraform and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Implement security best practices, including IAM, network segmentation, and secrets management across the platform.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot performance issues, optimize resource utilization, and ensure high reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote DevOps culture and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps roles.
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting skills in Python and experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tooling and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset.
