Devops Engineer
Platform Engineer building secure, scalable data and AI infrastructure for defense missions using Python, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly available, secure cloud-native platforms on AWS for data, analytics, and AI workloads.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Containerize services with Docker, orchestrate with Kubernetes, and enforce security best practices across the stack.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and cyber operations teams to integrate new services and optimize performance.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and continuously improve reliability and scalability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps roles in a regulated environment.
- Hands‑on experience with Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD tooling.
- Strong understanding of security principles, including IAM, encryption, and network segmentation.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical setting.
