Devops Engineer
Platform Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Python to support high‑availability financial services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and Terraform to automate application deployments and infrastructure changes.
- Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement proactive improvements using Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
- Document architecture, processes, and best practices to enable knowledge sharing across the organization.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps roles within a financial services environment.
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM) and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and experience with CI/CD tooling.
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and related monitoring tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
