Security Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and protection of secure platform services for national security missions, leveraging threat modeling, incident response, and cloud security expertise to safeguard critical infrastructure.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain secure platform services, ensuring compliance with federal security standards.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability analyses for mission‑critical systems.
- Develop and enforce incident response plans, coordinating with cross‑functional teams during security events.
- Implement and manage cloud security controls across AWS and Azure environments.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and intelligence stakeholders to embed security throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering for high‑assurance environments.
- Proficiency in threat modeling frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STRIDE) and vulnerability management tools.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and secure architecture design.
- Strong knowledge of incident response, forensics, and compliance (NIST, DoD, FedRAMP).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, mission‑driven team.
