About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of platform and auxiliary systems for maritime defence projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate hardware, software, and cyber components into operational platforms.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with ITAR regulations and maintain NV1 security clearance.
- Develop and execute test plans, validate system performance, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Document system architecture, configuration, and operational procedures for long‑term sustainment.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in platform or systems engineering within a defence or aerospace environment.
- Strong knowledge of ITAR compliance and experience working with classified information.
- Proficiency in cyber security principles and defence system integration.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Australian citizenship and current NV1 clearance required.
