Software Engineer
Lead scientific investigations and data analysis for NASA missions, develop research proposals, document findings, and provide technical insight across multidisciplinary teams using tools such as Python and MATLAB.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute scientific investigations that support NASA mission objectives.
- Analyze complex physical data sets using programming tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB) and statistical methods.
- Develop research proposals, technical reports, and documentation to communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and program managers to integrate scientific results into mission planning and technology development.
- Provide technical insight and recommendations that influence program direction and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Physical Science, Physics, or a closely related field.
- Proven experience conducting independent research and publishing results.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and scientific computing tools such as Python and MATLAB.
- Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple research projects.
