About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes, plugins, and templates to meet business requirements.
- Implement server‑side logic using PHP and manage relational data with MySQL.
- Integrate front‑end components with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure responsive, user‑friendly interfaces.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization for existing WordPress sites.
- Collaborate with designers, QA, and other developers using Git for version control and continuous integration.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional experience in PHP and WordPress development.
- Strong proficiency in MySQL database design, queries, and optimization.
- Solid understanding of front‑end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including jQuery or modern frameworks).
- Experience with theme and plugin development, custom post types, and REST API integration.
- Familiarity with Git workflow and deployment processes on typical LAMP stacks.
