Software Engineer
Scientist responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting pharmaceutical data using Python, R, and SQL, applying statistical and machine‑learning techniques to ensure data integrity and support regulatory submissions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive data review and validation of pharmaceutical datasets to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain analytical pipelines in Python and R for data cleaning, transformation, and statistical analysis.
- Apply statistical modeling and machine‑learning methods to identify trends, outliers, and insights that support product safety and efficacy assessments.
- Generate clear, reproducible reports and visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to cross‑functional teams.
- Collaborate with laboratory scientists, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs to resolve data discrepancies and improve data collection processes.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Bioinformatics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and R for data analysis, along with strong SQL querying skills.
- Experience with statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and machine‑learning techniques applied to pharmaceutical or life‑science data.
- Solid understanding of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA).
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and strong communication skills for presenting complex data to non‑technical stakeholders.
