Data Analyst
A People Systems Business Analyst will optimise and enhance HR technology platforms, translate business needs into functional solutions, and support data‑driven decision‑making using SQL and visual analytics within an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and document business requirements for HR systems, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Maintain, configure, and enhance the People Systems platform (e.g., HRIS, payroll, talent management tools).
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and cross‑functional teams using Agile practices to deliver system improvements and integrations.
- Develop and run SQL queries and data extracts to support reporting, audits, and performance metrics.
- Create dashboards and visualisations to enable data‑driven decision‑making for HR leadership.
- Provide end‑user training, support, and troubleshooting for system users.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in HR or People Systems environments.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms and related processes (e.g., recruitment, onboarding, payroll).
- Hands‑on proficiency with SQL and data‑visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
