About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented People Operations Generalist to join our growing People team. Based in our New York City office, you will be responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle, ensuring a positive and compliant employee experience for our rapidly expanding workforce across the Americas. This is a crucial role within our People team, offering the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including offer letter generation, background checks, HRIS data entry, and new hire orientation.
• Administer employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, 401k, etc.), including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Process payroll in collaboration with finance team and external vendors, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (e.g., BambooHR, Workday).
• Support employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews, final paychecks, and benefits continuation.
• Assist with HR policy development and implementation, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
• Generate HR reports and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
• Contribute to various People team projects and initiatives, such as performance management, employee engagement, and learning and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a People Operations or HR Generalist role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws (federal, state, and local).
• Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Workday) and payroll processing.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proficiency in G Suite or Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
