Software Engineer
Lead the design, development, and delivery of people analytics solutions, leveraging SQL, Python, and BI tools to transform HR data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and improve member outcomes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data models and dashboards that provide real‑time insights into workforce metrics and member engagement.
- Extract, clean, and analyze large HR datasets using SQL and Python to uncover trends, forecast outcomes, and support evidence‑based decision making.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and senior leadership to translate business questions into analytical solutions and communicate findings through Power BI and Tableau visualisations.
- Develop and implement statistical models and predictive analytics to identify risk factors and opportunities for improvement in member services.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with privacy regulations across all analytics projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in people analytics or HR data science, with a strong foundation in SQL and Python.
- Hands‑on expertise in Power BI and Tableau for creating interactive dashboards.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis techniques and predictive modelling.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Experience working in a regulated financial or superannuation environment is an advantage.
