About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance payroll system configurations to support accurate processing for multiple workforce groups.
- Lead governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with awards, enterprise agreements, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT to identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
- Conduct data analysis and audits to detect discrepancies, recommend corrective actions, and report findings to senior stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver training and documentation for payroll system users and governance procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in payroll systems administration and governance within a complex, high‑volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of award and enterprise agreement compliance, and related regulatory frameworks.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms (e.g., SAP, Kronos, or similar) is highly desirable.
