About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate capital cybersecurity projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and security policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and prioritize mitigation strategies across network and system architectures.
- Develop and oversee incident response plans, guiding teams through detection, containment, and remediation of security events.
- Collaborate with engineering, acquisition, and stakeholder groups to integrate security controls into hardware and software designs.
- Maintain compliance with DoD Secret clearance requirements and ensure all project personnel meet clearance standards.
Requirements
- Active Secret DoD security clearance (transferable) at start of employment.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with proven expertise in risk management, vulnerability assessment, and incident response.
- Demonstrated project leadership experience managing complex, multi‑disciplinary technical initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of network security architectures, secure engineering practices, and relevant defense standards.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain required government clearances.
