About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and modification of manufacturing equipment using CAD tools.
- Support Lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve process flow.
- Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on quality assurance and Six Sigma projects.
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLC‑controlled machinery and automation systems.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in an engineering program (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with PLC programming or industrial automation preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
