About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and maintain scalable cloud environments on AWS and Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud resources, implementing security best practices and cost‑control measures.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate infrastructure changes, support release cycles, and improve overall system reliability.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on DevOps experience with public cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) and experience building automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep understanding of Linux operating systems, networking, and security concepts in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently in a part‑time, contract setting.
