Part-time Data Engineer - TNTP

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Python and Airflow to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources into cloud data warehouses.
• Implement data modeling best practices and optimize query performance in AWS Redshift or BigQuery.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data quality, lineage, and accessibility for research projects.
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and automate alerting and recovery processes.
• Document architecture, code, and operational procedures for internal teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building data pipelines in a cloud environment.
• Experience with data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
