Job Overview
We are reimagining GTM at Databricks and are seeking a Product Manager to own AI-powered GTM agents end-to-end: defining what we build, prioritizing the roadmap, partnering with the AI Ops builder team on delivery, and owning field outcomes. You'll sit between senior GTM leadership, Sales Ops, the AI Ops builder team, and the field - translating field reality into a product roadmap that improves how Databricks sells at every stage of the motion.
This is an IC role for someone who has worked inside GTM, understands how AEs, BDRs, and CSMs actually operate, and wants to own a product surface that reimagines GTM processes in the age of AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Product strategy for your agent area: Set the 2-quarter roadmap, write the PRDs/Business Intent Docs, and make the prioritization calls. Advocate for regional needs with the rest of the team as prioritization and roadmaps are built.
- Voice of the field: Run structured feedback loops with end users (often, AEs & Front line managers) across APJ. Convert Feedback into a prioritized backlog the builder team can execute against. Over time you will grow into the ability to build within a low code agent building platform.
- Agent behavior and quality: Define how agents should behave, SOPs, decision logic, escalation paths, governance guardrails. Partner with builders on prompt and workflow design and cross functional teams (marketing, partner org) on how edge cases should be handled and additional use cases should be prioritized.
- Launch and rollout: Own GA criteria, regional readiness gates, and the FLM-certification-based rollout model. Coordinate RAICs in region and own launch comms to land each release.
- Outcomes, not output: Hold the line on the KPIs that matter, and run A/B tests and weekly business reviews to close the gaps.
- Cross-functional unblocking: Drive resolution on the dependencies that gate your roadmap, data quality,, licensing, contact data, and ingest. You don't own these systems, but you own getting them unblocked.
What We Look For
- Experience: 5+ years in product management, GTM strategy, sales ops, or a closely adjacent role, with at least 3 years owning a product or program end-to-end. Internal Databricks experience or deep familiarity with our GTM motion is strongly preferred.
- Pattern recognition for sales workflows: You can sit with an AE for an hour and walk away with a prioritized list of where an agent helps vs. gets in the way. You can feel out the difference between personal preferences and best practices worth replicating.
- Comfort with technical ambiguity: You don't need to build the agent, but you need to read an AI workflow, write a SOQL query to validate behavior, and reason about why edit rate is creeping up in a specific geo.
- Influence without authority: You'll be a peer voice in exec readouts. You need to
