Security Engineer
Senior OT Security Engineer responsible for securing and maintaining OT/ICS environments, ensuring compliance with NIST and IEC 62443, managing network segmentation, and leading incident response and vulnerability management across critical infrastructure.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain OT security controls, ensuring continuous availability, integrity, and confidentiality of industrial control systems.
- Implement and enforce IEC 62443 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework policies across OT‑IT integration points.
- Design and manage network segmentation, firewall rules, and secure remote access for SCADA and PLC networks.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and patch management for OT devices and software.
- Lead incident response, perform root‑cause analysis, and coordinate with IT security and operations teams.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, runbooks, and compliance reports for regulatory audits.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in OT/ICS security, with deep knowledge of SCADA, PLC, and DCS environments.
- Proficiency in IEC 62443, NIST CSF, and industry best practices for industrial network security.
- Hands‑on experience with network segmentation, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure remote access solutions.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to perform root‑cause analysis and develop mitigation plans.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
