QA Engineer
Design, implement, and maintain operational technology and automation solutions for manufacturing processes, leveraging PLCs, SCADA, Python scripting, and industrial IoT to ensure reliable, efficient production.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and commission PLC and HMI/SCADA systems for production lines.
- Design and implement industrial network architectures (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus) to connect field devices.
- Create and maintain Python scripts for data acquisition, analysis, and integration with MES/ERP systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define automation requirements and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience programming PLCs (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, etc.) and configuring SCADA/HMI platforms.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and data handling in an industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols and networking.
- Experience with Industrial IoT concepts and integration of edge devices.
