Systems Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end Oracle platform implementation, architecture, and operations, ensuring scalable, secure, and high‑performance systems using Oracle Database, OCI, PL/SQL, and Linux.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full implementation lifecycle of Oracle enterprise platforms, from design through deployment and post‑go‑live support.
- Architect scalable, secure Oracle solutions, integrating with existing infrastructure and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Manage database administration tasks, including performance tuning, backup/recovery, patching, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, develop technical specifications, and deliver training and documentation.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to maintain high availability and reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience administering Oracle Database and OCI environments.
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and Linux shell scripting.
- Hands‑on experience with backup/recovery, performance tuning, and high‑availability configurations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
