Financial Accountant
We are looking for an Oracle Cloud Techno-Functional Consultant with expertise in Oracle Subscription Management and Receivables (AR) to support implementation, enhancement, and production support activities. The ideal candidate will combine functional knowledge of subscription billing, revenue recognition, and receivables processes with technical skills in Oracle Cloud tools (OIC, BIP, OTBI, VBCS) to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize the application.
Role Summary

The ideal candidate will combine functional knowledge of subscription billing, revenue recognition, and receivables processes with technical skills in Oracle Cloud tools (OIC, BIP, OTBI, VBCS) to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize the application.
Key Responsibilities
Functional – Subscription Management
Configure and support Subscription Management setups: Subscription Types, Rate Plans/Pricing, Billing Schedules, Renewal Rules, Usage-based billing, and Entitlements.
Manage subscription lifecycle processes: creation, amendments, renewals, cancellations, upgrades/downgrades, and co-terming.
Support integration of Subscription Management with Order Management, Pricing, Billing, and Receivables for end-to-end quote-to-cash flow.
Troubleshoot issues related to subscription billing runs, proration calculations, usage capture, and revenue schedule generation.
Support recurring billing cycles and resolve exceptions in invoice generation from subscriptions.
Functional – Receivables (AR)
Configure and support AR setups: Transaction Types/Sources, Receivables Activities, AutoAccounting Rules, Receipt Methods, Customer Profile Classes, Remit-to Addresses, and Tax setups.
Support transaction processing: invoices, credit/debit memos, receipts, adjustments, and applications.
Troubleshoot AutoInvoice import failures, receipt application/AutoMatch issues, and customer account setup problems.
Support revenue recognition processes and their integration with Subscription Management billing schedules.
Support month-end/quarter-end close activities: AR-GL reconciliation, unapplied receipts review, and close exceptions.
Support credit management, collections, dunning, and customer statement processes.
Cross-Functional / Integration
Work with Order Management, Pricing, Configurator, and GL teams to ensure smooth quote-to-cash and billing-to-collections cycles.
Act as a liaison between business users (Sales Ops, Billing, Finance/Collections) and technical teams, gathering requirements and translating them into functional/technical solutions.
Prepare functional design documents (BR100/functional specs), configuration workbooks, and test scripts (SIT/UAT).
Participate in CRP (Conference Room Pilots), SIT, UAT, and cutover/go-live activities for implementation projects.
Provide production support: incident/service request resolution, root-cause analysis, and enhancement delivery, adhering to SLA/OLA.
Technical
Design and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP web services, and FBDI/HDL for data loads.
Develop/troubleshoot BI Publisher (BIP) reports and OTBI analyses for subscription billing, AR aging, and collections dashboards.
Support configuration of Application Composer (extensibility), Sandboxes, Page Composer, and Security setups (roles/privileges) as needed.
Analyze and resolve data issues using FBDI templates, HDL, and Cloud-specific diagnostic tools (Cloud diagnostics, OTBI, ESS job monitoring).
Support Oracle Cloud quarterly patch/update testing and impact analysis on Subscription Management/AR functionality.
Prepare technical design documents for integrations, extensions, and custom reports.
Support Process & Governance
Log, track, and manage tickets via ITSM tools (Zendesk, JIRA, etc.).
Adhere to change management and incident management processes.
Participate in on-call/rotational support during critical billing cycles and period close.
Contribute to knowledge base documentation and continuous process improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
5–8 years of overall Oracle experience, with hands-on exposure to Oracle Cloud (Fusion) Subscription Management and/or Receivables (AR).
Strong functional knowledge of Quote-to-Cash cycle: Order Management, Subscription Management, Billing, and Receivables.
Experience with Oracle Cloud tools: OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI/HDL, Application Composer, and OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud).
Working knowledge of REST/SOAP web services and Cloud security/role-based access setup.
Experience in a production support/AMS environment.
Familiarity with ITSM tools (Zendesk, JIRA) for incident/change management.
Understanding of recurring revenue models, usage-based billing, and revenue recognition concepts.
Good to Have
Oracle Cloud certification in Receivables, Subscription Management, or Order Management.
Exposure to Oracle Revenue Management Cloud (RMCS) for ASC 606/IFRS 15 compliance.
Knowledge of e-invoicing and statutory/tax compliance in a multi-country environment.
Experience with VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service) for custom UI extensions.
