Senior Oracle DBA responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high‑availability database environments, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity using Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Cloud technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Oracle Database instances across on‑premises and cloud environments.
- Perform regular performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning to meet SLAs.
- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery strategies, including RMAN and Data Guard.
- Ensure database security, compliance, and audit readiness through role‑based access control and encryption.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application deployments and database migrations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience administering Oracle Database 12c/19c.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning tools.
- Hands‑on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) database services.
- Knowledge of backup/recovery, high‑availability, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
