Software Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and operation of security solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, driving secure architecture, IAM policies, and incident response while guiding a team of security engineers.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement security architecture for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Design, configure, and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, network security groups, and encryption mechanisms across OCI services.
- Lead incident response activities, including detection, analysis, containment, and remediation of security events using SIEM and other monitoring tools.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates (e.g., Terraform) to automate secure provisioning and configuration of OCI resources.
- Mentor and guide a team of security engineers, fostering best practices in cloud security, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience securing cloud platforms, with deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of IAM, network security, encryption, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Hands‑on experience with SIEM solutions, incident response processes, and security monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OCI Resource Manager) and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of guiding technical teams in complex security projects.
