About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize heavy oil production processes and reduce downtime.
- Develop and implement safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for performance gains.
- Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and field teams to schedule and execute equipment upgrades and repairs.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on operational metrics and improvement outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in heavy oil operations or similar production environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional projects and drive process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
