Key Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance SCADA and BAS platforms, ensuring reliable operation of HVAC and other operational technology assets.
Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team to design, develop, and test automation solutions using Python and related tools.
Assist in migrating legacy Alerton building automation systems to modern, scalable architectures.
Perform system integration tasks, linking sensors, controllers, and data acquisition modules.
Contribute to quality assurance activities, including unit testing, code reviews, and documentation.
Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Requirements
Current enrollment in a STEM program with coursework in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.
Familiarity with SCADA/BAS concepts and HVAC systems.
Proficiency in Python programming and basic scripting.
Experience or strong interest in Agile/Scrum development practices.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
