About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the AI risk framework, aligning it with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Conduct risk assessments for AI models and related technologies, identifying potential ethical, security, and operational impacts.
- Collaborate with data science, engineering, and product teams to embed risk controls into the AI development lifecycle.
- Monitor AI deployments, track key risk indicators, and produce regular reports for senior leadership and regulators.
- Provide guidance and training on AI risk best practices across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in operational risk, risk management, or compliance, preferably with a focus on AI/ML technologies.
- Strong understanding of AI governance, model risk management, and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, FCA, AI Act).
- Proficiency in data analysis and scripting languages such as Python to evaluate model performance and risk metrics.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical risk concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a financial services environment is highly desirable.
