Software Engineer
Seeking an OpenShift Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain containerized applications on Red Hat OpenShift, leveraging Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools in a fully remote environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage OpenShift clusters to support scalable, secure application workloads.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Tekton to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes/OpenShift, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to define infrastructure-as-code standards using Ansible, Helm, or Terraform.
- Monitor cluster health, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches/upgrades to keep the environment compliant and secure.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Strong proficiency in Linux system administration and container technologies (Docker, OCI).
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating deployments.
- Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Ansible, Helm, Terraform) and scripting languages (Bash, Python).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote team setting.
