Provides first‑level technical support for office automation tools, maintaining Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and related scripting solutions to ensure efficient workflow for the Department of Environmental Protection.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first‑line support for Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint sites, and related automation tools.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot VBA macros and other scripts to streamline business processes.
- Configure and manage user access, permissions, and document libraries within SharePoint environments.
- Assist with Windows Server and desktop operating system issues impacting office automation applications.
- Document procedures, create user guides, and provide training to staff on automation best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint administration.
- Strong scripting skills, preferably VBA, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- Solid understanding of Windows operating systems and basic network troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities to support non‑technical users.
- Relevant certifications or coursework in Office automation, IT support, or related fields.
