About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize G-code programs for CNC milling, turning, and multi‑axis machines.
- Translate engineering drawings and specifications into accurate machining instructions.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to refine toolpaths and improve cycle times.
- Validate and troubleshoot programs on the shop floor, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Maintain and update CNC machine documentation and programming best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience programming CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances.
- Problem‑solving skills and attention to detail in a fast‑paced production setting.
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
