Software Engineer
Provides day‑to‑day support for ISO 9001 QMS and nuclear quality assurance programs, curating condition reporting, driving corrective actions, and leading internal and external audits alongside engineering and project teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ensuring alignment with nuclear QA requirements.
- Curate the Condition Reporting and Corrective Action Report (CAR) system, collaborating with engineers to track, assess, and close reported conditions.
- Plan, conduct, and eventually lead internal audits of quality programs, preparing documentation and corrective action plans.
- Support external audits and regulatory assessments, providing evidence of compliance and addressing auditor findings.
- Partner with engineering and project teams to integrate quality standards into design, construction, and operational processes.
Requirements
- Experience with ISO 9001 implementation and maintenance in a regulated environment.
- Knowledge of nuclear quality assurance standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage corrective action processes and drive issue resolution.
- Strong audit skills, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
