About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain nuclear quality assurance plans aligned with ISO 9001, NQA-1, and industry regulatory requirements.
- Lead internal and external audits, manage corrective actions, and ensure continuous improvement of quality systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to embed quality controls throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and assess regulatory changes, providing guidance to maintain compliance with nuclear safety standards.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate quality‑related risks, preparing comprehensive reports for senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in nuclear quality assurance, with proven expertise in ISO 9001 and NQA-1 implementation.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear regulatory frameworks (e.g., NRC, DOE) and audit processes.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to work across multiple sites, including remote and field locations.
