Systems Engineer
Entry‑level Network/System Engineer responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise network and server infrastructure, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring secure access across Windows and Linux environments using Active Directory and VPN technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network and server infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Configure and manage Windows Server and Linux systems, including patching, updates, and security hardening.
- Implement and support Active Directory, group policies, and user account management.
- Set up and maintain VPN connections, firewalls, and other security appliances to protect data traffic.
- Assist with cloud services (AWS) integration, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Document procedures, create knowledge base articles, and provide first‑line support to end users.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in network or system administration roles.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting tools.
- Hands‑on experience with Windows Server (2016/2019) and Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL) environments.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and VPN technologies.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and scripting (PowerShell or Bash).
