Systems Engineer
Manage enterprise networks and servers while implementing security controls, monitoring threats, and automating processes using Linux, Windows Server, Active Directory, Python scripting, and SIEM technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network devices, firewalls, VPNs, and routing protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Implement and manage security solutions, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, incident response, and forensic analysis to mitigate cyber threats.
- Develop automation scripts (Python) for system provisioning, patch management, and security reporting.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design secure architectures and enforce compliance standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in network and system administration (Windows Server and Linux).
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, firewalls, VPNs, and SIEM platforms.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and log analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, Network+, or equivalent) preferred.
