Networks Support Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco and Linux platforms, ensuring high availability and secure connectivity across VPN and SD‑WAN environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network solutions, including routing, switching, and VPN configurations.
- Monitor network performance, analyze logs, and proactively resolve connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce firewall rules, VPN policies, and secure remote access.
- Document network topologies, change management procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide Tier‑2 support for end‑user connectivity problems and coordinate with vendors for hardware replacements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of Linux networking tools (tcpdump, netstat, iptables).
- Experience with VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL) and SD‑WAN solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+) preferred.
