Mid‑senior Network/Infrastructure Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure on‑prem and cloud network architectures, leveraging virtualization, DevOps practices, and system‑level design to ensure high availability and performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy secure, high‑availability network and communications architectures for command and control environments.
- Implement and manage on‑premise virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V) and integrate them with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
- Apply DevOps methodologies to automate network provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.
- Develop and enforce security controls, ensuring compliance with TS//SCI requirements and best‑practice hardening.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and optimize performance.
Requirements
- Active TS//SCI clearance with eligibility for reinvestigation.
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering, including routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
- Proficiency with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and ability to implement secure network designs.
