Software Engineer
Lead a cross‑functional network team, designing, implementing and maintaining high‑performance, secure networks across warehouses, offices and cloud platforms while actively troubleshooting and mentoring staff.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and maintain enterprise‑grade routing, switching and security solutions across on‑premise and cloud environments.
- Lead a team of network engineers, providing hands‑on guidance, code reviews and technical mentorship.
- Monitor network performance, diagnose incidents, and implement rapid remediation to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Develop and enforce network security policies, including firewall rule sets, VPN configurations and segmentation strategies.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security and application teams to align network architecture with business objectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering with deep knowledge of Cisco IOS/NX‑OS, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring technical teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Hands‑on expertise with firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, NetFlow, Splunk).
- Experience designing and operating networks in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to troubleshoot complex network issues, and a passion for continuous improvement.
