About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures across client environments.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN solutions.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify risks.
- Develop and execute remediation plans to meet PCI, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert guidance and training to client IT teams on best security practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in network security engineering or consulting.
- Proficiency with leading firewall platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA) and IDS/IPS tools.
- Strong knowledge of VPN technologies, routing, and switching.
- Experience performing security audits and ensuring compliance with PCI DSS, HIPAA, or similar frameworks.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or GSEC.
