About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high‑fidelity network models for satellite and ground segment communications using MATLAB and Python.
- Implement simulation frameworks in C++ to evaluate system performance under varying mission scenarios.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate network models into end‑to‑end mission simulations.
- Analyze simulation results, produce technical reports, and recommend design improvements.
- Validate models against flight data and refine algorithms to enhance accuracy.
Requirements
- Strong experience in network modelling and simulation for space or defense systems.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and C++ with a track record of developing simulation tools.
- Knowledge of satellite communication protocols, link budget analysis, and system dynamics.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
