About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and scale network infrastructure for Amazon Dedicated Cloud regions.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve deployment speed and reliability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, ensuring high availability and low latency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate networking solutions with compute, storage, and security services.
- Participate in on‑call rotation and incident response to resolve critical network issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fundamental understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP) and experience with Linux networking.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with AWS networking services (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway) and cloud‑native infrastructure concepts.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, and effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
